In response to Governor Brad Little's State of the State address, the Idaho Senate Majority Caucus shared key priorities that align closely with the Governor's proposals.
Boise, ID – In response to Governor Brad Little's State of the State address, the Idaho Senate Majority Caucus shared key priorities that align closely with the Governor's proposals. These priorities include lowering taxes, bolstering education, enhancing border security, boosting funding for wildland firefighting, and strengthening law enforcement across the state.
The Senate Majority Caucus recognizes the rising inflationary costs to hardworking Idahoans caused by the disastrous policies of the Biden Administration. The caucus is resolute in lowering taxes to provide much needed relief to Idaho’s taxpayers.
Idaho's Senate Republicans are dedicated to supporting Idaho's education system, ensuring that it provides a robust foundation of important skills and critical thinking along with great education options for each child's unique needs. “Like Governor Little, we are committed to ensuring Idaho's children have access to an education that provides a strong foundation for their lifelong success,” shared Senate President Pro Tem Kelly Anthon (R-Burley).
Emphasizing the importance of security, Majority Caucus Chair Ben Toews stated, “We are united in our effort to secure Idaho's borders and support our law enforcement, ensuring that every Idahoan feels safe and protected.
